My Favorite Valentine’s Day Candy

Conversation hearts. Yes, the chalky ones.

They taste like sugar and nostalgia and come with messages that are either cute, confusing, or hilarious. Half the fun reading the message and deciding which ones to eat first.

Are they gourmet? Do they taste great? No.
Are they a Valentine’s classic? Absolutely.
